Pollux (4,092 m) and Castor (4,228 m) with the Cervino Guides
Two classic peaks symbolizing friendship, connected in eternal proximity. The climb offers some of the most beautiful Alpine scenery on glaciers and snow ridges facing the Matterhorn.
Options
Single-day: Pollux or Castor – meet in Cervinia, lift to Klein Matterhorn, traverse Verra glacier, climb Pollux or Castor, return same day.

Two days:Â
Day 1 – Ascent to the Pollux and overnight stay in the refuge Salita al Polluce e pernottamento in rifugio
Meeting in  Cervinia, ascent by cable car  to Plateau Rosa (3.500 m). From there, climb the Pollux and then descend to the Lambronecca refuge. Overnight stay.
Day 2 - Ascent the Castor and return
Early start. Progressive ascent along the Verra Glacier, ascent of the Castor via the west face and descent via the same route. Return to Plateau Rosa.
