Detailed Program – 3 Days
Day 1 – Cervinia → Colle Château des Dames → Rifugio Prarayer
Meeting in Cervinia and equipment check. Ascent to Colle Château des Dames (3,488 m) in a wild and evocative setting, followed by a long and beautiful descent into Valpelline. Wide open slopes and deep silence lead to Rifugio Prarayer (2,005 m), set on the shores of Lake Place Moulin.
Overnight in a traditional mountain hut.
Day 2 – Prarayer → Rifugio Aosta
A steady, progressive climb into the heart of the Valpelline, beneath the mighty Grandes Murailles glacier. Arrival at Rifugio Aosta (2,781 m), a rustic and secluded hut surrounded by glaciers and steep rock walls. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 – Rifugio Aosta → Tête de Valpelline → Descent → Zermatt → Cervinia
We set off at dawn for the ascent of the Tête de Valpelline (3,799 m). From the summit, an exhilarating descent awaits on the Stokji Glacier, leading into Zermatt. From here, we return via the lifts to the Klein Matterhorn before making the final ski descent back to Cervinia — with tired legs and a big smile.
