The Lyskamm Traverse is one of the most beautiful and elegant ridges in the Alps: sharp, airy, and continuous, it stretches above 4,000 meters between the Eastern and Western Lyskamm, offering breathtaking panoramas and authentic, challenging alpinism.

Accompanied by the Cervino Guides, experts in these high-altitude environments, you will experience a unique adventure: a technical and thrilling challenge where safely navigating glacial terrain and exposed cornices is essential.

Climb program

Day 1

Meet in Gressoney Staffal, ascent via lifts to Punta Indren (3,275 m), climb on foot, overnight at Rifugio Mantova or Rifugio Gnifetti (around 3,500 m).

Day 2

Early wake-up, climb to the Western Lyskamm (4,481 m), full traverse of the airy and spectacular ridge to the Eastern Lyskamm (4,527 m). Descent to Rifugio Quintino Sella and the Colle di Bettaforca, return to Gressoney via lifts.
