A Timeless Classic of Off-Piste Skiing

A unique and unforgettable experience: the descent of the Vallée Blanche, in the Mont Blanc massif, is amongst the world’s most celebrated and spectacular ski routes.

Over 20 km of off-piste skiing through an awe-inspiring glacial landscape of seracs, granite spires, and eternal ice  — all under the expert guidance of the Cervino Guides.

From the summit of Punta Helbronner, reached by the Skyway cable car from Courmayeur, you enter a magical world of snow, light, and silence, gliding across the Mer de Glace towards Chamonix. Several variants are possible, chosen according to snow and weather conditions.

Programme

  • Early morning meeting in Courmayeur (or transfer from Valtournenche on request)
  • Cable car ascent to Punta Helbronner
  • Descent of the Vallée Blanche – classic or more technical variants
  • Lunch or snack on the glacier or at the Refuge du Requin (depending on route)
  • Return to Chamonix: ski to the valley floor when snow allows, or take the Montenvers cog railway
