Early-morning meeting in Cervinia or Perrères (Valtournenche). Hike along alpine trails to the start of the ferrata (about 1.5 hours). Ascent of the Vofrède ridge via ferrata: vertical sections, equipped traverses, breathtaking views.
Possibility of overnight stay at the Perrucca Hut during the descent for a longer and more evocative experience, or return in a day via a loop route through the Cignana basin back to the valley.
