The Museum

The Matterhorn Mountain Guide Museum is housed in the Franco Oberti Room on the first floor of the Alpine Guide Society headquarters.
Created with the contribution of the Club Amici del Cervino (Friends of the Matterhorn Club), it presents the contents of the book dedicated to the history of the Matterhorn mountain guides in a museum setting, recounting their exploits from 1865 onwards with an eye to the future.
Videos are available and it is possible to visit the Luigi Amedeo di Savoia Hut located outside.
