Since 1865, the Matterhorn Mountain Guides: experience and adventure on the peaks of the Alps

The mountain is a dream, a call, a challenge. For over 150 years, the Matterhorn Guides have accompanied mountaineers and explorers into the heart of the Alps, where the sky meets the peaks and every step tells a story of passion, courage and adventure.

Safety Corner

All our guides are UIAGM (International Union of High Mountain Guides) guides. Beware of those who do not have this logo, they may be abusive. Don't be afraid to ask for your identification card.
Study the trip before setting off. Distances, altitude differences and walking times should be clear to you. Also assess the weather conditions well before setting off on the hike. When in doubt, ask the mountain professionals for information.
Beware that some dangers cannot be seen, so always tie up on the glacier. If you don't know how to do this, we can help you.
In winter, the greatest danger is not seen so always read the avalanche bulletin, it's for your own safety!
