– Ascent to Rifugio Vittorio Emanuele II, depending on weather conditions and group pace
– Dinner at the hut and briefing with the guides to prepare gear and review the next day’s itinerary

– Early morning departure for the roped ascent to Gran Paradiso (4,061 m)
– Glacier traverse with safe progression through crevasses and snowy slopes
– Summit photo next to the famous Madonnina statue
