First Day
 Breuil-Cervinia (2005m.) – Teodulo Refuge (3300 m.)
Departure from Cervinia and ascent towards the Colle del Teodulo, an ancient transit site for the Romans heading for the countries beyond the Alps. Dinner and overnight at the homonymous refuge.
Difference in height: 1295 m.
Time needed: 4-5 hours

Second day
 Teodulo Refuge (3300 m.) – Schonbiel Refuge (2694 m.)
Descent along the Teodulo glacier to reach the Trockener-Steg station. Descent to Furgg and up the trail to Schwarzsee. From here you pass in the valley of Zmutt passing under the north face of the Matterhorn. Arrival at the Schonbielhutte. Dinner and overnight.
Difference in height:  650 m.
Downhill difference:  1300 m.
Time required: 6 hours
Difficulty: easy on the glacier and then hiker

Third day
Rifugio Schonbiel (2694 m.) – Rifugio Aosta (2781 m.)
Spectacular stop in a unique environment thanks to the spectacular view on the west of the Matterhorn and on the north of the Dent d’Hérens. Climb to the Col de Valpelline and then to the Col de la Division, arrival at the Aosta refuge. Dinner and overnight.
Difference in height:  1050 m.
Downhill difference:  950 m.
Time required: 7 hours
Difficulty: easy on the glacier with expert hiker sections

Fourth day
 Aosta shelter (2781 m.) – Perucca Vuillermoz refuge (2909 m.)
Descent along the wild Valpelline towards the Prarayer refuge. Ascent and crossing of the Valcornera pass, arrival at the Perucca Vuillermoz refuge. Dinner and overnight.
Difference in height: 1100 m.
Downhill difference: 1000 m.
Time required: 7 hours
Difficulty: hiker with expert hiker sections

Fifth day
 Perucca Vuillermoz refuge (2909 m.) – Breuil Cervinia (2005 m.)
Descent towards Breuil Cervinia, passing through the window of Cignana.
